I have searched
all around
But the answer is yet to be found
I’ve read the books, I’ve checked the signs
I’ve searched the corners of philosophers’ minds
Turning black and white to gray
You came to
earth to live as a man
Fulfilling the law and the Mater’s plan
You suffered death so that I might live
And all You ask is that I give
My life back to You
And I wonder
why a King would die for me
And I wonder why You would pay the price for me
And I wonder why You would hang upon that tree
And I wonder why, Oh why Calvary?
